This cabin is close to HWY 80 for easy freeway access. For winter renters, it is close to many Tahoe ski resorts including Squaw Valley, Boreal, Northstar, Alpine, Surgar Bowl, Tahoe Donner and more. For summer, it is also very close to Donner Lake and multiple Golf Courses and Tahoe Donner Gym. Truckee has been booming in the last couple of years with great old town shopping strip and newer grocery stores for needed supplies. There are many sport shops around for year round activities. A two car garage and an outside pull in allows for 6 cars to be parked. The family style of this home leaves the full middle floor for socializing with an open layout for kitchen, living room, deck and dining area plus a tv room for a bit of privacy. There are 4 bedrooms with a loft for lots of sleeping space.

There is a large kitchen with an open layout to the large living area. A dishwasher makes all clean up easy.

The main living area is a large room with high vaulted ceilings. This room comtains the kitchen, two dining areas and a lounge area for TV watching and general lounging after a long day of sporting activities. A wood burning stove near the front of the room keeps the whole area heated!!! There is also a central heating system recommended for when visitors are staying in the lower level bedrooms (those not heated by the wood burning stove).

The dining area is part of the greater living area on the middle floor. It is great place for meals and card games alike. It is also open to the deck for easy summer dinners outside.

There is also a den with a TV and a laundry area for dirty/wet sports clothing.

There are 4 bedrroms that sleep 8 people. One room has a queen size bed, two rooms have bunk beds and one room has two twin beds. The living room has a pull out couch and people often sleep on the couch in the den. There is also a small loft with a pull out futon that can sleep 1-2 people.

There are three full bathrooms, one on each floor. The first floor bathroom has a tub/shower combo while the tow other bathrooms have only showers. Two of the bathrooms have a door to seperate the sink from the toilet/shower area to make things easier when lots of people are getting ready at the same time.

The large deck is accessed from the great living area near the fire place. The deck is large enough for dinner outside making it perfect for entertaining and bbqs. There are also steps up from the driveway to the deck and the front door.
